  1. Aug 06,  · Let me get this out of the way--I feel Opolopo is one of the BEST Producers in Modern Funk at the moment. His skills for the funk and polished productions are undeniable, and "Voltage Controlled Feelings" stands as the first great Modern Funk LP of the era IMO/5(15).
  2. He goes straight to floor with his remix of "Feels Good 2 Me" launching in with crunchy messed up beats, warm pads and dubbed out vocals for an epic remix that combines old and new styles. DJ Reactions: Tensnake - Great Nachtbraker remix, thanks DJ Spinna - Both mixes are solid.
  3. While Opolopo remixes dart from Rene & Angela basslines to delicious house music, his album Superconductor, is channeling the '80s, a decade that has been a constant source of enrichment for the Opolopo sound. Superconductor is firmly built around the song, with many collaborations, among them Keni Burke, Diane Charlemagne, Pete Simpson and others.
  4. From then, he has dropped 4 extra albums with his latest – ‘Superconductor’ – back in on Joey Negro‘s Z Records label. Meanwhile collaborating with luminaries such as Keni Burke (‘So Good’) and Paul Randolph (‘Sustain’). But also Taka Boom (‘Feels Good 2 Me’) and the late Diane Charlemagne (‘Round And Round’).

  6. Opolopo first hove into view for many as the man behind the genre-crossing house remix of Gregory Porter 's " What?", a tune that finished in the top ten of many DJs in Labeled future jazz by some, it's only a minor part of the Opolopo story, which spans genres like a musical suspension bridge. Opolopo was born Peter Major in Zirc, Hungary, a short drive .

  9. The acoustic songs are good and the only song that I feel like really misses was People Pleaser. To me it just is a miss therefore I give it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall very good album and I would recommend buying this as it is so good to hear real live music again in pop dance and R&B/5(72).
